Small town charm, great place to have Lunch. We have been traveling so we took advantage of their salad bar, it was nice to be able to prepare my salad the way I like it. Simple choices but exactly what we were looking for. Customer service was friendly, and the chicken that the neighbouring table ordered looked homemade.
Small towns sometimes offer BIG flavor and that's what we found in Elkhart, IL. We visited Gina's Talk of the Town during harvest season and found the dining room wide open and quiet. This downtown spot is popular with farming families, so we basically had the place to ourselves! The menu is everything you'd expect off a grill, so I picked a hamburger with fries. Our waitress was sweet and very friendly. The kitchen was so fast we were in and out in about 30 minutes. The best part of my burger were the garden accoutrements: the juiciest tomato, greenest lettuce and freshest onion. I bet it's all grown locally! The restaurant offers an ATM machine and gambling machines, which didn't interest us, but is worth mentioning. You'll find Gina's just over the railroad tracks and across from the community bank. I had a breaded tenderloin there today and it was great! Young waitress was great and handled herself very well. She had about 20 plus people and kept up. Nice to see hard working young people.

All I can say is Holy Cow! Huge tenderloin sandwich the size of your head! Amazing! Bring a big appetite. Nice little place. Food is good.
On way to Wisconsin and needed to stop for a bite to eat for this Diamond in the rough small hometown feel serving comfort food .Ordered the Irish nachos , boneless wings ,Double cheeseburger with onion rings , and the horseshoe pork tenderloin everyone was happy with the food was really delicious. Tons of food and just an awesome little place!
I'm typically not the type of person to leave reviews, but I was so impressed with this establishment that I felt compelled to share my experience. If you choose to visit Talk of the Town you'll be greeted with some of the friendliest folks and eat fresh, delicious food. This place is truly a hidden gem.
